The Client Services Coordinator provides compassionate, professional assistance to individuals and families seeking support through The Salvation Army. This position connects clients with essential resources, coordinates assistance programs, maintains accurate records, and builds strong partnerships with community agencies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinate TEFAP and CSFP applications, and partnerships with the Fairbanks Community Food Bank.
- Provide compassionate assistance and continuity of care for families seeking rental, utility, clothing, household, and furniture assistance.
- Connect clients with community resources and other social service agencies.
- Respond to client inquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
- Maintain accurate client records, statistics, reports, and data in the HUD HMIS and Salvation Army systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation to meet grant and reporting requirements.
- Support data collection and outcome measurements to strengthen services for families in need.
- Assist with seasonal programs such as Back to School, Thanksgiving, and Christmas assistance.
- Recruit, coordinate, and work alongside volunteers supporting social service programs.
- Provide backup support for food distribution programs as needed.
- Represent The Salvation Army professionally and compassionately in the community.
- Assist with work-related errands, transportation needs, and other duties as assigned.
