DESCRIPTION:One-Day Worksite Wellness Workshop for Managers\, Executives\, Leaders\, Human Resource Professionals\, Business Owners\, Worksite Health Champions\, Health & Safety Staff and others.  Participants will enjoy multiple professional guest lectures on developing a complete wellness program for their business\; and how to engage or challenge employees to participate.  This includes a State of Alaska Substance Abuse presentation along with CBD management in the workplace\, tobacco prevention and related health issues\, nutrition on a time-restrictive or monetary budget\, diabetes management plus the CDC program on pre-diabetes prevention\, suicide prevention\, various mental and physical health topics\, keeping physically and nutritionally fit at the office\, review of best practices and useful resources\, learn about costs and benefits of worksite wellness\, plus connect with local experts to assist in the implementation of programs.  Registration fee of $30 includes registration breakfast at 8:00 am and catered lunch with presentation at 12:30 pm.
